Flannel baby pattern will make a 18 inch doll. When made as designed, there are no snaps, buttons, etc. making it perfect for the younger child. The pictures show the finished doll made using peach flannel and tea-dyed flannel with craft fur hair and felt eyes. Both the hands and feet are sculpted with one hand permanently sewn to mouth. Also included are the directions for the 22 inch square reversible flannel blanket. Clothing is non-removable. Directions are provided for soft-sculpting the hands and feet, however some doll making experience is helpful. New doll makers should not shy away from this pattern as the doll itself is not difficult to make. This pattern will still make a soft, cuddly baby doll even without the soft-sculpting.
