Hi, I
am P.K. Gracia the mastermind behind the "Soft in the Head"
creations. I have been asked many times why I make dolls
and my response has always been, "it's cheaper than a
shrink!" I love creating and going into that world of
"anything is possible"! I enjoy sharing my secrets with
everyone. I am totally self-taught and most times the
technique I use is based on an accident that happened and
worked. I try to include everything you see in the picture
in my pattern or at least where it can be found or done. My
phone number and e-mail are printed on the front of every
pattern. So if there are "EVER" any questions call or
e-mail me. I live with the philosophy that the smile and
feeling you get from your creation is the goal and the money
is the perk. I hope you will enjoy a "Soft in the Head"

NEW! Waldorf Bunny
Meet little “Waldorf” the bunny. He loves to just hang out among
all the delicious greens you have growing in your garden. His very
favorite of all the greens are those tender young lettuce leaves.
He likes to get to those before they barely break through the
ground, YUM! Waldorf isn’t Mrs. O’Malley’s favorite visitor when
her garden is starting to perk up…..Better watch out Waldorf or
you might become part of a salad yourself! Waldorf is made from
heavily dyed osnaburg and measures a stout 6”. He has a
needle-sculpted face with a wool nose and painted metal eyes. He
has shading on his face and body to enhance his features. Waldorf
is mounted on top of an old rusty jar lid and has rusty vintage
square nails for feet and the “Soft in the Head” trademark rusty
safety pin arms. In one arm he carries a small wicker basket.
Around Waldorf’s neck he is wearing a wool scarf. Waldorf is an
original “Soft in the Head” design by P.K. Gracia.

Milo the cardinal
Milo the cardinal is made from painted muslin that has been
distressed and waxed. He stands a stout 8" from the tip of his
top-knot to the bottom of his wired feet. Milo is a free-standing
bird and measures 11" long. He has a needle-sculpted face with
small black bead eyes. Milo has quilted wings and his scarf and
clever little earmuffs are made from wool.

Miss Bonny is on her way to pick up her children from school. She
has been working all day in the garden hoping to have enough for
dinner. With so many children to care for, the garden has been
having a tough time recovering from each picking. Miss Bonny is a
sweet and kind soul. She is always ready to help any fellow bunny
with a bunch of radishes or a few carrots, even if it means she
goes without after feeding her own family. She keeps her tattered
wool dress mended, knowing that this might me the only one she
will have for some time. Miss Bonny is 14" tall. She is made
from painted, waxed and distressed muslin.
She has a wool felt
muzzle and a pink wool nose. Her eyes are stitched and painted.
She also has such a sweet and kind face. Miss Bonny can sit or
hang from a cupboard or door and her small and quaint ears are
wired so they can be bent to add character to her face and
expression.

Storytime
Edna Storytime Edna is made
from painted and waxed muslin. She has a needle-sculpted face with
rusty bells for eyes. She measures 12" tall and her body is
weighted so she can sit anywhere nicely. Edna has dowels for legs
and her feet are painted muslin and wire. Edna is holding a
"grungy" little book of nursery rhymes in her wing. The wings are
quilted and wired so they can be posed in many ways. Edna is
wearing a blue dyed cheesecloth shawl around her shoulders.
The pictures don't do this little goose justice. She is a great
piece to add to any home. She just makes you smile.

Mildred Mildred is an eighteen
inch powerhouse and will command the attention of any group. She
is made from waxed and distressed muslin. Her face is hand
stitched including her eyelids. Her eyes and belly are painted.
She has a distressed and dyed apron with an appliqué with the word
EGG embroidered on it. Her belly is a separate piece of muslin
that has been distressed, painted and hand stitched onto her body.
Mildred is a wonderful addition to the “prim” home and will
definitely bring smiles to all that see her.

Socks Socks' is made from a
plush felt that has been dyed and "grunged" up for that aged look.
The felt was trimmed around the face and then dyed cotton batting
was added to the muzzle to give Ol' Socks a worn and loved
appearance. His eyes are vintage wooden buttons that are sewn on.
His nose is pink wool and he has waxed thread whiskers. Socks' has
wool/plush felt ears and his face and ears are all hand stitched.
The ears are also wired and can be posed in many different ways.
His legs are attached with buttons so they can move and he has
grunged up socks on his feet to keep them warm (hints the name).
Socks' is 21" tall when his legs are straight and he is 14" tall
when sitting. His body is weighted to make him able to sit all by
himself. He is wearing a grungy yellow wool jacket.

EGG-bert These little bunnies are
fun! They would look great hanging around just about anywhere in
your home for the holidays and anytime. The bunnies are made from
muslin that has been waxed. The faces are hand stitched with
horsehair whiskers. Their eyes are painted with separate eyelids
that have been stitched on. They also have cute little egg shaped
bellies with the word "EGG" stitched across it. Each bunny
measures 14" (without the wire). You can hang them with the wire
or the loop sewn on the back.

Pack Rabbit Zeb
Zeb is a
14" freestanding rabbit. He is made from muslin that has gone
through a few different dyeing processes. The muzzle and the wool
nose have been stitched on. His eyes are painted and the lids have
been stitched on over the eyes. Zeb's whiskers are made from horse
hair.
The basket that Zeb carries on his back is made from muslin that
has been woven, waxed and dyed. Inside the basket is dried Easter
grass. His carrot is made from painted muslin and has a dyed
cheesecloth top.

Hugo the Huge
Hugo is approximately 34" long, with a heavily coffee-dyed body
and face. His soft-sculpture face is both stitched and painted.
His rusty wire whiskers fit his disposition. He has a weighted
bottom, which is why he doesn't move around much - he'll pretty
much stay wherever you set him. He is a bit stuffy and insists on
wearing a scarf & sweater and he doesn't go anywhere without his
stuffed carrot.

room. He is approximately 24" long and is made out of heavily
coffee-dyed muslin with a button eye and a tail made from Warm &
Natural.

Is it "Sweet Dreams" or "Duck Tales"? This little guy is enjoying
both while snoozing away on a large sunflower. The 10” tall
sunflower is made using a wool fabric top & osnaburg bottom. The
sunflower petals are painted & waxed muslin. The huge sunflower
head is mounted atop a pedestal that has been "primmed" up to add
to its rustic charm. The little duck is made from painted &
distressed muslin.

Milton Sniffler (flower lover)

Milton! He is an authority on the subject of flower sniffing!
Milton is an adorable 9” little duck, made out of painted and
stained muslin. He has tiny little glasses and a sprout of red
hair on his head. The flower is a freestanding sunflower made from
painted muslin.

Biscuit Bunny (Buster’s sis)
Meet Biscuit! She is approx.
30” long and is a wonderful vintage looking bunny made from dyed
flannel. A girl bunny like my Buster Bunny pattern! Her dress has
a tight fitting bodice with tiny little buttons at the top. Her
face is stitched and her ears are wired. She is weighted so she
will sit well anywhere. I love her long stitched toes and stitched

USS Puddleduck
Dooley is a stout 18" tall and made from muslin that has been
waxed. He has a stitched and painted face. Dooley the Duck is a
retired sailor who has decided to start his own navy. He’s
starting out small, but effective. His first ship has been
christened the USS PuddleDuck. He has the cutest webbed feet,
helps in paddling. His feet and legs are painted. His wings are
quilted and hold firmly onto the inner tube, which bears the name
USS PuddleDuck.

Dinky and Lil' Bit
Dinky is 11" tall while his buddy Lil' Bit is 16" tall and are a
couple of great "Make-Do's" for the spring. Dinky the Duck and Lil'
Bit his Bunny buddy. Both have stitched and painted faces. Dinky
has jingle bell eyes and wool hat and Lil' Bit has button eyes and
thread whiskers. These two charming little guys are mounted onto
vintage brass candlesticks.

Hamlet the Bee
Hamlet the Bee is usually kind of buzzed. He's a learned bee who
particularly enjoys Shakespeare. His favorite passage of course is
"to BEE or not to BEE". Hamlet is approximately 24" long. He has a
painted muslin body, with a stitched and painted face and
coffee-dyed wings. He has rusty-wire curly antenna and really long
legs.

Buster Bunny
Buster is a very vintage looking bunny complete with sport coat,
box tie and handy basket. He is also very polite. Buster is
approximately 34" tall with a coffee-dyed body, stitched face,
beads for eyes, and rusty wire whiskers. He can hang from the wall
or sit on a counter. He has inside-wired ears which can be posed
any way you'd like.

Mr. Penny Hopper Mr. Pennyhopper is a "crafty rabbit". He is making a carrot
garland to hang on his Easter tree. The 19" tall Mr. Pennyhopper

rabbits do). Mr. Penny Hopper can be weighted to sit upright, or

Patsy Dew
Here's little
Patsy Dew with her best buddy Chicklet. Patsy is 23" of pure fun.
She is made out of distressed osnaburg with a stitched face and
painted eyes. Her hair is wool that has been needle felted to her
head. Chicklet is made out of wool felt. Patsy is wearing rusty
colored, loose weave dress with a vintage sheer curtain apron.

MAGIC THE MAKE DO
BUNNY
Everyone needs a
little "Magic" in their lives! Here is Magic the Make-Do Bunny. At
24" tall, he is a very dapper fellow in his top hat & tails. His
base is a painted wooden candlestick. Made from coffee-dyed wool
felt, he has a stitched face & his eyes are knotted thread. His
hat & coat are made out of felt. The coat is lined with homespun.
He carries his magic wand with him in hopes of casting that final
trick to WOW his friends.

Huckleberry Bunsburrow
Huckleberry Bunsburrow,
the youngest Bunsburrow in a family of 42. He is a thoughtful and
friendly sort and loves the flowers. Huckleberry is 16" tall and
is weighted. He has a warm & natural body that has been
distressed. His face is stitched, with the cutest, puffy cheeks.
He has button eyes and wired ears (great for hearing farmers). The
flowers are wool felt

Tuft the Carrot King
It's good to be king!
Tobias is a benevolent king and he looks very regal in his carrot
crown. He carries with him his carrot scepter - okay, it's his
lunch. Eat your carrots and you too could be king! Tobias is made
from dyed Warm and Natural. He is 28" tall, has button eyes, and a
stitch-sculpted face. He is just adorable.

Egg Make-Do's
These are adorable
"Make-Do's" or pincushions. They can be attached to any type of
round base you might have around the house. The ones seen here are
mounted on glass candlesticks. The little bunny is perched very
comfortably on top of each egg and they measure approximately 11"
completed. The make-do also looks great without the bunny. Pattern
includes bunny, egg and directions on how to get the vintage look
on glass.

Cordelia Hopps
Cordelia is approximately 34" tall and
is made from antiqued warm and natural. Her dress is homespun and
she has a cheesecloth shawl that has also been dyed. She has a
stitched face with button eyes. To keep her ears from falling in
her face she is wearing a wool hat. Cordelia is a single mom,
never a moment to herself. Her kids go with her everywhere
traveling in a picnic basket. The kids are made out of warm and
natural as well.

As the 4th of July approaches the glen Rebecca is thinkin’ it was about time to get the flag out of its wire flag keeper and let it start swaying in the afternoon breeze. She always loved showing her “patriotic” side and letting everyone know she was a proud “American” rabbit!
Rebecca is made from heavily dyed muslin. Her face is stitched, painted and shaded to enhance her quaint facial features. Rebecca likes to hang around from cupboards, doors or walls but can also sit in that snug little corner one might have just waiting for her. She measures approximately 20” long and her outfit is partially painted and fabric. The skirt is a wonderful “Americana” print with an old feedsack fabric apron. Her shawl is from a vintage pillowcase that has gone thru a dyeing process and she has an antique button at her throat. Over all I would say Rebecca Snip is a very special “Americana” rabbit and proud of it! Rebecca Snip is an original Soft in the Head design by P.K. Gracia.

The sheep measure 13" long and 6" tall. There is nothing like a couple of sheep
that have the spirit of Americana to give that "primitive" touch to your home.
These two would look wonderful on a sideboard or table or old country worn
cupboard.
These two are made from muslin that has been needle felted with wool. Their
faces, ears and tail are painted and distressed to looked aged. The white sheep
(Uncle Sam) has a small white beard under his chin and a tall stovepipe hat on
his head.

Sam is 20" tall and Miss Libby is 10" tall. Uncle Sam and Miss
Liberty are two friends that go hand in hand in this country. They are both made
out of distressed muslin with stitched faces and painted eyes. Uncle Sam is
wearing a wool coat with hand-stitched stars and hand stitching along the edge.
His beard and hair is sheep wool that has been needle-felted to his head. Sam's
hat is painted and he is weighted to stand freely.

This Uncle Sam is quite the funny
fellow. He is made out of painted muslin with a stitched and painted face. His
beard is aged sheep wool. Sammy is mounted on an old rusty bedspring and has
rusty bells sewn across his bottom. Sammy can also be made without the spring
and be mounted on a different pedestal or just weighted with no pedestal. With
the spring, Sammy is approximately 16" tall.

Frogcicles!
Here's an interesting way to decorate ones tree...with "Frogcicles". These little guys are great. They measure approximately 10" long and are made from painted muslin. They have needle-sculpted faces with stitched eye lids and painted eyes. They are shaded to enhance their primitive appeal....The icicle part of the body is covered in Mica Flakes and their necks are kept snug with a wool scarf.

I absolutely love these guys….what a riot! Nothing like a frog that thinks he is a snowman huh? These guys have so much character and are chock full of giggles and snorts!

Bundle Up!
"The weather outside is frightful! Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let
it Snow"…….With the hands of a loving father, the snowman wraps
the scarf around his precocious son. All the young boy has on his
mind is play, play, play! Snow is the best! So many wondrous
things happen in the snow….snow forts, snow war, snow angels, snow
cones, and sledding! It's Dad's job to make sure Junior is bundled
up for the big event! I just love how this set turned out. I
remember many times watching
my own husband wrapping scarves around
our
own kids necks along with zipping of the coat, the pulling on of
the boots and finding the fingers to
go into the right spot of
the
gloves. Snow became a child's fantasy land. A world of wonder and
dreams! The snow people are made out of dyed cotton batting. They
are weighted to stand. Their hats are made from pieces of an old
sweater and trimmed with a rusty bell. Dad's coat is made from
wool and has pewter buttons down the front. Dad has a cotton nose
and small rusty bell eyes and his mouth is stitched. Junior has a
cotton nose, rusty nails for eyes and a stitched mouth. Junior's
arms are grapevine. Junior also has a wool scarf that has been
dyed. Dad stands approximately 16" and Junior is approx. 8". This
is a wonderful addition to any winter theme in your home and
something to be treasured through the years. I know I love it!

Lily Whyte The most exciting part of
the holidays for Lily is she gets to be a "pretty" kitty. She
loves to dress up in her finest dresses to celebrate the season.
Her absolute favorite thing is donning the sacred Santa hat and
greeting "all" that visit with a hearty, HO HO HO! Lily Whyte is
made from painted and distressed muslin. Her nose, mouth and
eyelids are stitched and the eyes painted. To give her face some
dimension and texture there is shading in all the nooks and
crannies. Her dress is made from a whimsical Christmas print of
snowmen and accented with a braided red tie. The dress has ivory
tulle trim and puffy little sleeves. To make this outfit even more
seasonal Lily has added a cute red wool Santa hat and a collar of
rusty jingle bells. She is holding a banner that says "WYNTER
WISHES".... Lily is 23" long and looks wonderful when hanging from
a door, cupboard or wall during the holidays.

Sinter Klaas The pattern has the information/ directions for the
waxed antiquing method and the chenille candy canes. Sinter Klaas
is made from waxed osnaburg. He has a needle-sculpted face. His
sweet little mouth is embroidered on and his eyes are drawn with
artist pencils. The lazy lids over the eyes are waxed osnaburg
that has been stitched on. His beard, hair and eyebrows are needle
felted on using sheep wool.

Making S'mores
Being a snowman of reasonable height,
19", he always had that deep fear of melting when things got a
bit heated. In his search to find the perfect s'more, Graham
met Cracker, a worm with his own deep-rooted desire to find the
perfect s'more.
Graham is made from dyed warm and natural. His face is needle
sculpted Hid buddy, Cracker, likes to perch himself on this
stick while toasting his own marshmallow. Cracker is 3" tall
and made out of painted muslin with a needle-sculpted face. He
has rusty-wire legs and a felt hat. His toasting stick is
wire and it has a small warm and natural marshmallow
attached.

Cratchit The Crow
In "Merry Ole England"
Cratchit is known as a humble crow who is always spreading the
Christmas cheer to young and old. You can see him walking the
streets of London with his wings laden with packages for all and
whistling a merry Christmas carole along the way.
Crachit is a 16" (including hat) tall crow made from painted,
waxed and distressed muslin. His face is needle sculpted and his
eyes are beads. His legs and feet are wire and each one has a warm
and natural spat with tiny black beads on the side.
Cratchit never leaves his home without wearing his wool-felt top
hat with a tiny sprig of green on the top and to keep warm from
the chilly snowy London streets Cratchit has a nice wool scarf
wrapped around his throat.

Merriweather
Merriweather is a quaint little make-do that measures
approximately 15" tall (depends on the pedestal used) and is made
from waxed, distressed muslin with a twig nose. Her starry eyes
are warm and natural with button centers. She can be perched atop
any type of pedestal. She has a pointed little collar trimmed with
rusty bells, makes it tough to sneak up on anyone! Her curved,
cone shape hat is trimmed around her cute little face and has a
bell at the tip.
Merriweather will be a wonderful addition to your Christmas/winter
décor. She looks great on a shelf, cupboard, desk or added to a
table centerpiece.

Silent
Night, Busy Night! Pattern
The Christmas three is painted and dry-brushed muslin. It is
weighted to support its little patron, and measures
approximately 16" tall. Well, there is tucker'd
out, and here is "really, really" tucker'd out! I think these
guys win the "really, really" tucker'd out prize! Ever wonder
how Santa is able to get all those presents delivered? Now we
know, crows! Here are two fine specimens right now! The crow in
the red hat is Reggie, the one in the green hat is Mike. I think
ol' Santa just wore them down to a pin feather. Reggie and Mike
are painted and distressed muslin. They have cute little
needle-sculpted faces and quilted wings. Their legs are made out
of rusty-wire. They both have the sweetest wool and flannel
Santa hats, which are hand-stitched onto their sleepy heads.
Each branch has a little rusty jingle bell hanging from it.
There is a wonderful wire-mesh star hanging from the top of the
tree. Now Mike has fallen asleep right over the special wool bag
that carries the most anticipated Christmas surprises. He
managed to set a couple out before falling fast asleep himself.
This wonderful set just makes everyone smile. It is the right
size to display just about anywhere during the holiday season.

Nickolaus
Nickolaus is an "Old World" looking kind of fellow. He is a big
chap, measures 42" tall. Nick loves sitting in a chair or just
hanging around (you can hang him as well). Nickolaus has a
muslin body is that is rag stuffed for weight, and has been
treated so he can hang outside under a covered porch. His suit is
linen with wool felt trim. Nick's beard is Vermont wool. His face

I combined my love of Halloween with my love of birds and wa-lah! This pin-keep is made from wool, both plain orange and a hounds tooth plaid. The little bird on top is made from muslin and has a needle sculpted face with quilted wings. The pin-keep is mounted on top of a jar lid and has an ink stamped tag stitched to the front that says “TRICK OR TWEET”. A small skeleton key has been added to add to the rustic look. These little 5" and 6.5" culprits are made using painted and dyed muslin. Their faces are stitched with french knots for the eyes and nose. They have sisal fibers for whiskers and rusty safety pins for arms. Their legs and tails are rusty wire, the boots are wool felt and there is a clay candy corn hanging from the tail. Each mouse is weighted to sit freely anywhere.
"Duffy" and his pumpkin "pin-keep" are approximately 10" tall. Duffy is made from dyed and distressed muslin and the pumpkin is made from wool felt. The pumpkin has needle-sculpted sections with painted pins adding to its look. Duffy has wool ears, thread knots for eyes and nose and rusty safety pins for arms. Mrs. Tilda Black Mrs. Tilda Black is a wall, door or for any flat area, hanging crow witch. She will make anyone that sees her smile and chuckle because of her silliness. She is made from painted muslin and has a needle sculpted face. Her wings are wired, only at the tips, and can bend to hold onto items or just to express character, which Mrs. Black is just dripping with right now.
She has one wing holding her "YE OLDE MERRY HARVEST" banner and the other wing parked on her hip with pure attitude. Her skirt is a soft brush flannel from Moda and her hat and ties are wool felt that has been drenched in coffee to stiffen as well as darken. She wears around her neck a hemp cord with a few rusty objects. Never know about those witches and their objects! Mrs. Black's legs are wire that has been wrapped in tape and distressed. Sister Bats Beecham
Sister Bats Beecham, of the Bedford Benevolent Society for Retired Witches and
their furry friends, has decided to run for the office of head Mistress. Of
course this means she will be running against her nemesis Dorthea Dittle. It's
time to pull out all the stops and start smoozing for votes. Bats went out and
bought a new dress, new shoes and she even had her make-up done by Murray the
Mortician. Heck she even conjured up a furry new friend, Vlad the bat! Now if
this doesn't win votes what will???? Sister Bats Beecham was a blast to make!
She is made from heavily dyed muslin. She has a stitched face and embroidered
lips with two tiny little felt teeth. Her eyes are painted and the eyes and
facial features are accented with shading. Her mass of with shading. Her mass of
curly locks is sheep wool that has been needle felted on. Bats is wearing a
brush flannel dress with a black net under skirt and homespun bloomers.
Sister Beecham is also wearing great shoes...they are painted and have thread
laces. To add to her outfit she is carrying a twig and sisal fiber broom, which
was inspired by the brooms I saw in use years ago at Ethan Allen Days in
Sunderland Vermont (just south of Manchester). Her little buddy Vlad the bat is
made out of painted muslin. This Ol' witch would be a great addition to your
Halloween décor. She is guaranteed to make all that see her smile...She's a
"HOOT"!

Marley
Marley the ghost is made from painted and distressed muslin and measures 16"
tall and 17" long. As the midnight bell tolls and the fog laps over the land,
you can hear the sorrowful wail of a lonesome spirit drifting through the empty
halls of the old Marley mansion. He is doomed to haunt these halls for all time
in penance for his cruel and thoughtless ways while he was mortal. He is such a
lonely soul and wants to undo what has been done.....but alas it is not to be.
Marley the ghost is made from painted and distressed muslin and measures 16"
tall and 17" long. He has a stitched and shaded face with painted eyes. Marley
is also waxed which adds to the shading and aging of his appearance. His arms
are wired to make it easier to carry his tombstone around with him. To add to

Mulrooney is 13" tall and 13" long (including his tail). He is painted, waxed

cutest wire whiskers that perch nicely over the top of his ghost costume, which

Ghost Writer

Sedric is an 8" ghost made out of painted, waxed and distressed muslin. His face
is needle sculpted and his eyes are small black seed beads. Sedric is wearing a
heavily dyed cheesecloth cloak that is frayed on the ends. He is also wearing a
backpack with waxed rolls of paper (I'm sure they are important documents). To
guide his way through the dark nights he is carrying a pumpkin lantern. The
lantern is sculpted out of clay, painted and antiqued and mounted on a twisted
rusty wire staff. Sedric is firmly attached to the top of Reggie, a bat of
distinction! Reggie is made from distressed wool felt. He has bead eyes and a
stitched nose.
His ears, which
hear everything, are black felt. There are uneven stitches going down his back
in black crochet thread. This gives him a more primitive appeal. Reggie's wings
are painted and waxed muslin that are quilted and wired so they can bend. Reggie
is mounted atop a grunged and distressed glass candlestick. He has long rusty
wire legs with feet jutting from each side.

Elsbeth Potter
Elsbeth Potter is 18 inches and is made from painted and distressed muslin and
measures 18' tall. She has a stitched and painted face. Her candy corn eye is
painted and stitched on with large uneven stitches. Her whiskers are dyed sisal
fibers. Elsbeth has a large painted candy corn stitched to her belly. The corn
and the rest of her body have been waxed which adds a nice aged look. Her hat is
stiffened black felt with a distressed look
and her collar is dyed flannel with rusty bells attached to each point. Elsbeth
has a thread loop on her back, which makes it easy to hang her from your door,
wall, cupboard or just about anywhere.

flannel fabric with black cross stitching along the seams. The pumpkin is

The Grimleys
The dark and dreary night welcomes the presence of "The Grimley's". Cedric and
Leticia Grimley are the caretakers for the old "Hawthorne" place up on the hill
in Applegate Falls. Every Halloween they open the doors to greet all their
neighbors and town folk and have one heck of a party. Ghosts and ghouls alike
enjoy their company and end up dancing till the wee hours of the morning. They
are 22" Tall and made from black cotton that has been distressed and waxed. They
have wool cuffs adorned with black seed beads. Their faces are waxed and
distressed muslin that has been needle sculpted. Cedric is wearing a felt top
hat and carrying some old skeleton keys and Leticia has her usual witches hat
on. She also has a collar of old vintage sheer fabric that is accented with a
shiny old looking button. Their hair is wool and Leticia has her gray mane
twisted into a neat bun in the back. Each have their fingers intertwined and
held in the front.

Aunt Nells is ready for anything with her handy bag o' spells. She is 39" tall

The "Hoot-Nanny" is 9" tall and made out of heavily dyed muslin with a waxy
shading. Each one of the kids is 5" tall and made from the same material. Their

on. Their eyes are layers of stained osnaburg with black felt centers. Each owl
is weighted to make them stand alone easy. They all have hand-stitched wings
that have been also shaded with a wax. Nanny owl is wearing an apron that has
the word "HOOOOOOO" embroidered on the front.
The little pumpkins are painted muslin with hand stitching and rusty nails for
stems. They are small and really cute! The moon in the background is made from
painted flannel that has also been waxed and shaded. There is a loop on the back

that has been distressed and stiffened. A small crow feather adorns the top. She

around the corner and you have to go to "night school"! Yep, every good lil'
crow with any kind of breeding is attending the annual "Crow's Training to
Witchcraft" class. There are all kinds of tips and information offered. Such as:
broom flying, spell casting, wand flinching and everyone's favorite "toad
tossing"!
This new pattern has three new students attending class with eager
anticipation....well two are eager, one is snoozing. All three lil' witch crows
are wearing their witch hats in hopes they will graduate before the big day
arrives. Each lil' crow measures 4"-7" depending on the size of their hat. They
also have rusty wire feet. The directions for the book are in the pattern
instructions.

Trinket is the older of two sisters who
have been attending classes on potion making along with other useful skills. She
takes her lessons very seriously and hopes to become a skilled spellcaster and
potion maker. She is particularly interested in the "keep the cats away" spells
and potions.
Trinket the Bold (as her friends call her) is approximately 8" tall and is made
from heavily dyed muslin. Her face is needle-sculpted with tiny black seed beads
for eye. Her nose is made from black crochet thread and the whiskers are sisal
rope. Trinket is wearing a dyed-maize colored flannel dress with a dyed
cheesecloth apron and she carries her spell book. Her hat is a rusty colored
wool felt. She is weighted on the bottom so she stands securely wherever she is.

Caw-leena
Ahhh Caw-leena the bewitching crow of
our feathered friends. She is a striking young bird in her "witch-wear" - a
dress of gray cotton with a wool felt "candy corn" appliqué and a becoming witch
hat in black felt, adorned with a candy corn charm. She is very festive holding
on to her painted muslin pumpkin.
Caw-Leena is a fine bird made from painted muslin that has been distressed and
aged. Her 24” of pure attitude are weighted so she can perch herself anywhere.
She has a stitched face and button eyes. Her feet are wire so they can bend any
way you would like.

Cleavon Creeps
Cleavon is confused! He wants to be all
things to all people on Halloween. Cleavon's body is thick upholstery fabric &
his head is painted muslin. He has a stitched mouth & nose and tiny little
button eyes. He is 28" from the top of his witch's hat down to his curled up
toes. He carries a barbedwire staff with a rusty moon. Cleavon Creeps is
weighted and can pose with little or no effort. He loves his bat wings for those
fast getaways.

The Shadows
Wonderful witch "Make-Dos" for the bewitching season. They can be mounted on any
type pedestal you would like, here they are on primmed candlesticks. The shadows
are made from painted and antiqued muslin and almost have a leather-like feel.
Standing Shadow is 18" tall and the Flying Shadow is 14" long & 10" tall. Both
are included in the pattern.

Mulrooney and Irawire
Mulrooney has wire whiskers, and button eyes. His buddy, Ira, has a stitched
nose and mouth with button eyes. Both are made from painted, distressed and
waxed muslin. They have weighted bottoms, so they will sit wherever you place

Now this is a pumpkin everyone wants to cuddle with. Thomas is such a little man
dressed in his cute little coat and wool pants. Of course his "raggedy pumpkin"
goes everywhere with him. Thomas is painted and antiqued muslin, as is his

face is stitched & painted, and he has a little rusty curl on top of his head.

Toady The Punkin' Head Here's a great pumpkin head make-do for
Halloween or anytime. Toady's face has a lot of character and the spider, Spits,
likes just hanging around his hat. Toady is a painted muslin pumpkin with a

black felt. He is atop a glass candlestick but would look good on just about any
type of pedestal.

Batty Hatty sometimes has a little trouble with her spells and potions. As you
can see from her wings, one of her spells went terribly awry. But she doesn't
let it bother her. In fact, with her new wings, she finds that her favorite high

has a painted muslin face & body, and rusty wire hair. She wears a rusty star
around her neck over a homespun material dress and topped by a felt hat. She
wears stylish stockings and is a member of the "Great Shoes" club.

Tucker'd Out
Ever have one of those days? Well Tucker has. He is the cutest lil' crow that
just got too busy at Halloween. The two pieces are attached & the overall height
is 12". The pumpkin & Tucker are painted, waxed & distressed muslin. Tucker has
a stitched face & rusty wire legs. The pumpkin is weighted & will sit just about
anywhere. This piece would be a great addition for shows.

Julius Bump
30" from the top of his hat to the tip of his toes...Julius' stately appearance
is due to the painted, waxed and distressed look of his muslin head.
Face is stitched and his eyes are small but wary buttons. To most he is a simple
pumpkin but to some he is a dashing example of "Squashdom" dressed in his coat
and tails. His arms and legs are bendable wire and can be posed to give him his
stance of authority. His scepter is a small paperclay pumpkinhead.

Fat cats need love, or is that even witches need fat cats? Who knows? Elvira is
12" including her antique spool she sits on. ( This will vary in height
depending on the spool you have available to use) She is made from waxed &
distressed muslin with a stitched face & painted eyes. Her flyaway hair is wool
& her hat wool felt. Winthrop is painted muslin with a stitched face & rusty
wire whiskers & beads for eyes. Elvira holds onto Winthrop with a rusty wire
leash.

NEW! Boomer the Bear I still remember my first stuffed bear. He saw me through many dark nights and those pesky “critters” under the bed. Knowing that his paws were there to safe guard me against the “critters” of the night was all I needed to feel safe and drift off to dreamland. I hope that “Boomer” can do the same….
Boomer is made from plush brown felt with ivory felt wool paw pads and muzzle. Boomer measures 15” while sitting. His limbs are sewn to the body and very floppy. He has button eyes, stitched mouth and a thread nose. He is dressed in the remnants of an old sweater (pattern for sweater included). This little guy will steal many hearts and is very easy to make. Moon Dust
Ever wonder who harvests the “moon dust” from the moon? Well it is the witches
in training Zephyr and Dot! It seems that poor Dot gets stuck doing most of the
swishing and swashing of the moon dust while ol’ Zephyr gets her zzzzz’s. Moon
Dust measures 10” tall and is mounted atop a vintage glass candlestick. The moon
is painted, waxed and shaded muslin. Each one of the little mice is painted
muslin with waxed tails and noses. Their hats are stiffened flannel and their
wands are painted stars on rusty wire. The little moon dust bag is dyed wool
felt with mica flakes glued to the top and the bag is weighted with sand.

natural that has been chalked with multiple colors, and then a coffee/vanilla

Sweet Annie is just too cute. You can't help but smile when you see her. She

Uncle Sam
Uncle Sam became a patriotic icon in 1812. Although the original Uncle Sam
(Samuel Wilson) passed away in 1854, his stars and stripes suit and his white
beard have become an easily recognizable patriotic symbol of the Spirit of
America. This primitive Uncle Sam helps remind us of that spirit every time we
look at him. He makes us smile too. Uncle Sam is approximately 40" tall and his
beard and hair are natural wool. His floppy arms and legs are easily pose able.

Foster is pretty cool for a chicken. That's because he is a top
quality rooster. Everyone knows how valuable a top quality rooster
is, including Foster. He's so relaxed, he wears his initial "F" on
